Day 1 of my anime colouring 🎨

I learned:
• cardboard needs drying time
• marker bleed is real
• Quaxly’s eyes are smaller than expected

I don’t have white markers either, so I had to improvise a Plan B. But the main goal was spending time away from my PC, and that part was a success.

I've been making colouring pages for a good 15 years, and I've consistently had feedback that they help with things like anxiety and depression, help soothe stress, and even help with chronic pain conditions by distracting from the pain. It's a great and very relaxing mindfulness activity and my pages are drawn such that if you can't hold a pen, you can colour them digitally with a mouse and the paint fill tool.
