I’ve been colouring the first double page of Secret Garden by Johanna Basford (reprinted 15 times between 2013 and 2015, don’t you know).

I’m about a third done and I’ve been here for hours. Just used my Thumper massager partly in hopes of loosening my hand. I can’t seem to grip more loosely.

Loving my Prismacolor pencils. Except the few that broke on sharpening (it’s a problem with these, they’re not so well-made anymore).

I took the dust cover off a while ago and spent a few hours last night colouring the cardboard cover with Posca markers. They stand out really well.

Also been writing, mostly editing, and I need to think of more to happen in a few chapters. I’m not sure it’ll work to combine three into two instead.

There's also a digital colouring book to go with it. You can colour the spaceships digitally, or print them out and colour with pencils or pens.

I drew the #DnD character of a friend after an ingame makeover.
Sent her the #drawing for approval, and she was quite happy with it.
She wants me to do the colours, but she also wants the drawing as a #colouringBook.
And her partner, who's also in the game, but had no makeover, would really like his char as a drawing too, please.

I am unreasonably proud of myself right now. ☺️

The silhouette of the uniform in this is so interesting - the combination of high sloped collar and fitted torso with roomy sleeves isn't something I can remember seeing in modern fits.

I love using these old photos for doodles or practice. Today I traced this fellow with an eye to improving my linework. I think he'd fit in nicely in a coloring book.
