Is neon green and pink a clashing combination of colours?
I need something very bad with neon green.

I've realised when I try to identify colours I'm acting just like an LLM:
- people say 'this thing is purple'
- I remember that thing and some context around it
- I see "the same" colour and say 'that is purple'.

Then, about 60% of the time, people say "no, thats blue" or "no, thats [some shade of pink]".

Oh well, its not *usually* life threatening...

I have quite a strong colour vision deficiency. One way it affects me is that I often miss red text on a dark or green background.
I used to have an app on my phone that would shift colours from the camera, so that I could at least see where the colour changes, if not give it a name. At some point that app stopped working with new versions of Android

This morning, while the kids were playing Minecraft, I spent a few minutes making a little web page that shows your webcam feed, and applies a hue-rotate filter to it. Nice and simple!

I want to know who designed the tool to let you check your property against an #LPT colour coded map.

Wonderful. I'm not even #ColourBlind and I'm struggling. All the colours are variations of orange. Bat shit insane.

But it gets better. To make things worse, the various shades of orange are fairly close to each other.

And here's the final kicker. There is a legend showing 7 shades of orange for the 7 bands.

The #RGB values in the legend don't match the map.

I quite enjoyed the email.wtf quiz that’s doing the rounds (11/21, must try harder!) but couldn’t tell if I got some of the questions wrong or right. The text of most responses makes it reasonably obvious, but not all.
