Fortunately, there is a Branch Office of Indonesia Open University in my city. So if there are things I don't know I can go there to ask although the location is quite far from my house. All the staff there already know me haha.

Two years here, four semesters have passed, lots of learning drama of course, but mostly technical. It's very helpful of course, it saves a lot of money. To be honest, my tuition fee per semester is only IDR 1,500,000 or around USD 91 based on current rate.

As the night ends, we are getting ready to get in the car and my friend puts his hand on my shoulder.

He looks me dead in the eye and says calmly to me, "I don't like this, but you made me promise."

He then proceeds to punch me in the gut as hard as he could. It's the only moment in my life I thanked someone for hitting me.

Back to the main story.

There I was, out with friends at a bar drinking. That's when I feel the draw. A different friend smoked. So, I walked out with him when he took a smoke break.

I then walked back in and loudly, as I was already clearly intoxicated, & said I smoked.

I proceeded to talk about how I hated the taste of it and didn't understand why anyone would smoke.

I went back about my business of drinking with friends.

Side Story: Before entering the bar, one of my friends told me a slick way to basically drink almost free all night. What you do is you buy the first round at the bar.

You then spend the rest of the night reminding everyone that you bought the first round which everyone remembers as it was before they were drunk.

He proceeded to do that to us that night. And it worked.

But again, I digress.

I MADE him promise me that he would punch me in the gut as hard as he could if I smoked a cigarette that night. He tried to say no. A lot. But I insisted.

While in college before going out, I was starting to feel...the draw to try cigarettes.
