Most agentic frameworks assume memory is optional. The agent disagrees. The systems that survive long deployments aren't the most capable. They're the most continuous.

Correctly identifying implications correlated not just with "theory of mind", but also reflective and logical reasoning. Short-term memory? Not so much.
