I spotted this little bugger a few days ago in my kitchen, but this time I was able to take a (blurry) picture before it crawled into a corner.

I _think_ this is a nymph of a amber wood #cockroach, which would certainly fit since the adults are common enough when they invade my house in the fall. They are harmless, since they don't go after human food supplies and in fact cannot survive in apartments for long.

Still, it's never _great_ to see a cockroach in one's apartment, especially if you are not 100% sure about its species. #insect
