Non è più riemerso dopo essersi tuffato nel lago di Como. È morto così un 15enne che si era buttato in acqua da una piattaforma galleggiante a Mandello al Lario, in provincia di Lecco. Quando gli amici non lo hanno più visto tornare in superficie hanno dato l’allarme, ma i soccorsi della Guardia costiera arrivati sul posto non hanno potuto fare niente per salvare il giovane. Il corpo è stato recuperato sul fondale dopo un’ora di ricerca dai sommozzatori dei Vigili del fuoco mentre i carabinieri indagano per ricostruire la dinamica.
Secondo le prime ricostruzioni il giovane si è tuffato nonostante l’acqua fosse ghiacciata, come riporta Il Giorno. Oltre al freddo, come spiegato da LeccoToday, la zona è considerata pericolosa dalle autorità locali ed è segnalata con cartelli di divieto di accesso. Dopo la tragedia, il sindaco di Mandello, Riccardo Fasoli, è intervenuto con un post su Facebook: “Bisogna fare qualcosa. Noi ci mettiamo i cartelli, il personale, la polizia locale. Ma qui va spiegato che le regole ci sono perché sono a tutela di tutti. Della vita di tutti. Social, televisione e tutto il resto insegnano a trasgredire, a essere contro. Oggi ha perso la vita un ragazzo, alla ricerca di divertimento, in un posto pericoloso, con divieto di accesso e in un lago che, se non si sa nuotare bene in acqua dolce, è mortale. Serve che si faccia qualcosa nelle case e nelle comunità da dove questi ragazzi partono la mattina, per un pomeriggio di divertimento che spesso è già nell’idea che diventi trasgressivo. E basta poco. Pochissimo”.

Today a boy lost his life, in search of fun, in a dangerous place, with a no-access sign and in a lake that, if you don't know how to swim well in fresh water, is deadly. Something must be done in the homes and communities from where these boys start their morning, for an afternoon of fun that is often already considered transgressive. And it takes very little. Very little.”
