Ugly Bag of Mostly Water@BigTittyBimbo Sid was a sheriff in Matewan, West Virginia, deep in coal country. The mine owners were constantly harassing, exploiting, underpaying and abusing workers. When the workers stood up and unionized, the owners sent goons, and Sid stood WITH the workers, an act that would be unheard of today. While this got him assassinated at the hands of (surprise!) other cops, it earns him, imo, the title of the one good cop Im aware of. #coalwars #unionize #sidhatfield
@ExtinctionR It’s next to impossible to install solar where I live in the middle of BF Wyoming. OTOH, if I wanted to install a coal fired power plant in my basement, I’m absolutely sure the State of Wyoming would provide subsidies and tax credits.
