Examples:
(1) Topographical maps
(2) Piano keys - angled bevels on the black keys
(3) 3D human face
Last year, I was using #FreeCAD, and was disappointed to find out FreeCAD's #CAM tool couldn't handle the angled slopes / black keys on the piano keyboard I designed.
Heard of people using: #Blender + CAM, #DuneCAD, #OpenSCAD and some other tools...

The PiBot CNC Pendant V4.0 is a handheld Bluetooth/RJ12-based controller designed for CNC machines running FluidNC and GRBL-HAL firmware. Developed by PiBot, with firmware support from ESP3D creator Luc, the pendant provides an interface for manually controlling and monitoring CNC routers, laser engravers, and other GRBL/FluidNC-based systems via RJ12 wired or Bluetooth connection. The device features a capacitive touchscreen, an industrial-grade encoder, a potentiometer knob, a band switch, three independent switches, and a built-in speaker, all housed in an enclosure with a dual-PCB design that allows IO expansion. Made with my #cncwoodoruter using #linuxcnc cad/cam was with vectric vcarve.
It was quite a challenge doing two sided machining. I ended up making a fixture, to machine the outside.
Topsides were a 2.5D relief motive. Bottom was engraved with "made by pedersen, xmas 2025, for y"
Walnut wood finished with furniture wax made from beeswax and linseed oil.

YvanTomorrow "REMO" in March are launching their #MakerSpace and "Workspace Pods"... March in the middle of the Fens is an interesting spot for something like that and will be interesting to see what they have there. I gather there is #3DPrinter and #CNCRouter stuff. Unfortunately not really in scope for us to make use of it at the moment due to life and stuff, it's a little far away to be casually useful (20 minute drive from home, not terrible, but I don't really have spare time.)
