Col de la Madone! One climb on my list checked!

Nice area is seriously a cycling heaven. The weather was perfect today. The 1500 ft climb from Nice through Eze is a little appetizer for the Madone, but the view was breathtaking. Menton is a bustling seaside town with beach goers. From there, just a few blocks, I was on an 8+ mile journey of climbing 3000 feet from sea level. It is the biggest climb I've done. There were a few cyclists trying to talk with me but I couldn't understand what they were saying LOL.

After a speedy descent from the Madone to Peille, I had lunch at Le p'tit gourmet. Peille is a really quiet town on the mountain. The daube was delicious and very satisfying. From there it was almost all the way down to Nice. That was probably the easiest 20 miles I've ever done.

I'm sure I'll come back!

This was my first send on the moonboard, it was a 6a+ ,but not a benchmark. it felt quite hard, because it's the moonboard. I am trying to get stronger without actually doing any strength training so this is a fun way to train power, strength and tension.
