Despite the irrational and weird vendetta of 🍊 toward wind:
From global energy think tank Ember: the world installed a record 814 GW of new solar and wind capacity in 2025, 17% more than in 2024 (696 GW).
New leader in growth of solar is...Indiana??
Having grown up in Indiana, I am startled to see this:
"Indiana’s solar capacity nearly doubled last year as the state trailed only Texas and California in the total amount of new capacity brought online."

New England moving toward legalizing plug-in/balcony solar
All 6 states- even New Hampshire- have legislation in process. Maine's could be signed into law next week.

The large tortoiseshell butterfly, thought extinct in the UK for over 60 years, is breeding again in southern England. Warmer springs allowed them to cross from Europe, and sightings are increasing from Dorset northward.
