There's this absolutely ridiculous but strangely persistent notion that the ultrarich will somehow be able to evade the consequences of climate destruction.

So here's your daily reminder that it's impossible to bribe physics. Wealth has no correlation with intelligence. In reality, a billionaire is most likely a person of average IQ, i.e. barely able to understand what they're getting themselves into.

Nowhere is safe. No-one is safe.

Speaking of climate destruction - yet another soft-denialist misnomer I abhor is "climate breakdown." It implies that Earth's climate somehow got tired of climating and broke down on its own. It happens. No-one's fault.

No. When something is actively being destroyed it's called destruction. And there are people - first and foremost the ultrawealthy and the fossil fuel corporate bosses - that are guilty and must be punished.

I think the central message here is: more than 200,000 people in Europe have died as a result of climate destruction caused by burning fossil fuels.

Translating this nonsense headline into human language: Fossil fuel companies murdered more than 200,000 people in Europe since 2022.

1) It's not "heat" - it's a direct product of CO2 emissions causing global overheating.
2) It's not "claimed" - fossil fuel companies knew exactly this would happen and still continued selling their deadly products. It's called mass murder.

Totalitarian China uses renewable energy simply as the international PR façade. There's no substance behind it and no understanding of why quick and comprehensive green transition is important.

Those naïve enough to believe that the CCP regime will be the global eco-savior are in for an extremely rough (or should I say hot?) awakening:

Despite Record Renewable Growth, China Is Still Betting on Coal - Inside Climate News

China’s power-sector emissions fell in 2025 for the first time in a decade, but a rebound in coal-fired generation raises doubts about whether the decline will last.

"Extreme rainfall and landslides caused by the climate crisis killed 7% of the remaining population of the world’s rarest great ape.

58 out of the remaining 800 critically endangered Tapanuli orangutans (Pongo tapanuliensis) were killed after more than 1,000mm (39in) of rain fell over four days in Indonesia’s North Sumatra province in November 2025."

"Human-caused sea-level rise has made coastal sea-level extremes four times more frequent since the start of the 20th century. Sea level rise is causing more frequent coastal flooding in areas like Wellington.

A new study published in research journal Nature Climate Change shows that Wellington's one-in-100 year coastal floods are now happening about twice a year."

While the billionaire-owned legacy media climate sections distract you with stories about sea levels rise by year 2100 and horrible coffee/cacao shortages, here's a doze of today's grim reality:

No, climate crisis isn't about your sweets and coffee. No, climate crisis isn't about what will happen 75 years later.

It's an actual possibility of dying from overheating right now.

Oh, this is the very opposite of mind-boggling. It was all predicted in the 1950s by scientific models. Throughout those decades we've been told a billion times that our fossil fuels addiction will have catastrophic consequences.

Physics is the immutable laws of FAFO. Both hands on electic wires = death from electrocution. Jump from the roof = death from the impact. Burning fossil fuels = death from overheating.

Health toll of a drowning coast

WHEN Cyclone Remal tore through Bangladesh’s southern coast in May 2024, it displaced around 800,000 people in a single night. In the weeks that followed, the crisis did not end with the wind and water. It shifted shape. Across coastal areas, thousands fell ill from contaminated water and mosquito-borne infections. Months later, health workers in Banshkhali and...
