Bad news and I think a strategically wrong decision that this institute seems to move away from doing research into #commons but moving towards purely economical research topoi. Commons will be a key component in a future that will face disasters (#climatecatastrophy, biodiversity erosion), all while a rule based international order (national order?) seems to crumble. In such an environment commons and knowledge of their collective management are key.

Die Fossil-Multis sind doch im Grunde auch nur Messy-Mietnomaden, die ihren Lebensraum so lange zumüllen, bis die Bausubstanz daran verreckt. Eine andere, nicht weniger dunkle Seite von Private Equity, die Immobilienprofiteure, würden so jemanden ohne Wenn und Aber schnellstmöglich nach draußen befördern lassen.
Es wird allerhöchste Zeit für eine Zwangsräumung. Dazu müsste man "nur" die fraglichen Konzerne des Planeten verweisen — und mit ihnen alles, was sich dabei in den Weg stellt. Die inhärenten Widersprüche im Kaputalismus sind ohnehin unüberlebbar; bleibt die Frage, für wen.
