Aaron Sorkin, Nicole Kidman – „Being the Ricardos“ (2021)

Kein Wunder eigentlich, dass dieser Film in Deutschland fast unsichtbar geblieben ist. Popkulturelle Gedächtnislücken sind eben hartnäckig. Lucille Ball und Desi Arnaz gehören eben auch nicht gerade zu Deutschlands kulturellen Fixsternen. Ihre TV-Serie war in den USA allerdings ein Urknall in der Fernsehgeschichte – bereits lange vor meiner Geburt. Schon um darüber etwas zu lernen, lohnt sich der Film dann doch sehr. (ARD, Neu!)

In between hecking tiredness, I finally watched #TrustMe, a #film Griffin’s in for the first ten minutes.

It seems a sweet film and then got more interesting, and a little confusing. It’s got quite a cast for a film you might never have heard of.

I didn’t realise #SaxonSharbino who plays Lydia, was also in American Vandal season one as Sarah Pearson. It’s a good role for #ClarkGregg which is understandable since he also wrote and directed it.
