I cleaned these up and noticed they were coated in something just a little bit waxy? so decided “maybe it’s boeshield, these almost certainly came from Boeing Surplus” and I decided I’d use that on them instead of bluing them like usual so I got them clean enough for that and took them outside to spray for a moment and brought them in to wipe down

and that’s when the absolute wave of old nicotine scent slammed me in the face

(I think as the new boeshield reliquified the old)

and it vaped off away real quick which was nice but I’m like HOW MUCH CAN ONE SHOP WORKER SMOKE?! and the answer is “a _lot_, apparently.”

they’re nice and clean and smooth and such now but that was a real _whoof_ xD
