On tonight/tomorrow's agenda: cooking garbanzo beans in a slow cooker (new to me). I'm doing this vs cans because of the CKD (less salt).
- Rinse then soak 1 cup of beans in 4 cups of water (1:4 ration) for 8 hrs (overnight) in slow cooker pot.
- Change water in pot to cover beans by 2 inches.
- Cook on high for 2.5 hours and check for done-ness.
I'm open to suggestions/feedback.
