#nowplaying Minako Honda - Lips (1986)
This is her second album. Minako was a popular japanese idol. Brian May and Gary Moore wrote songs for her. But the success was short, she died young at 38 from leukaemia in 2005.

Things I didn't know I absolutely needed in my life: Covers of the Ace Attorney/Phoenix Wright soundtrack in City Pop style. It's straight bangers, from start to finish, not a second is bad.

I think this is the song of my summer: #YurieKokubu, "I Wanna Be With You".
I love songs with great horn parts and this hits that hard. Just the right amount of 80s synth. There, but not beating me over the head with it. Incredible vocals.

Who has some favorites of Japanese synth music? Bonus if ‘80s but ok if from other decades 🤖✨
