Anyone have experience growing figs in western Washington or Oregon? A neighbor up the street from me has this large, healthy fig right next to the sidewalk that gets loads of fruits every year, but nobody ever harvests them. Seems a shame to let them go to waste, but I don't know how to tell if/when they are ripe. When should we pick the figs? #gardening #CityFruit #UrbanFruit
