The ohoh.store is open again! Make the most of the warm days and send each other a postcard to beat the heat.
The Badeschiff is a barge converted into a swimming pool, moored on the River Spree in Berlin. This allows people to swim in the Spree without coming into contact with its polluted water. The project was conceived and realised by Susanne Lorenz and the Spanish architectural firm AMP Arquitectos in 2002. It was their entry into a competition organised by Stadtkunstprojekte e.V. The Badeschiff opened in 2004 and is operated by Arena Berlin.
Gab Kiess sees the great in the small and often photographs it from an extraordinary point of view. Her choice in themes is very diverse, but frequently portrays them in unexpected ways. She organises photo trips for photo enthusiasts to Barcelona and Naples. During these trips, she teaches participants street photography and architectural photography. In Berlin, she teaches courses in cyanotype making, a classic printing technique of photographs.
