#Transgender people get worse of both double standards while we're misunderstood
Imagine going to men's jail because you didn't conform to laws intended to restrict women's appearance
Plus extra dumb phobia specifically to us
If you're a trans guy you should only have to be held to the stupid double standards men have
Even in a broken society, it's not much to ask for a little #fairness
Once we practice seeing people for who they are, maybe we'll move past more of the sexism #cisPeople face
Some of that's probably hormone based too
It was difficult to be emotional on testosterone, like crying on painkiller
Disconnected me from my childhood because feelings became foreign and forgotten, emotional blocks
Or maybe it's just that I can see past my depression on estrogen and it wasn't like that for most men

Nonbinary people, you don't owe your cis birth parents anything for having "a child," which, through the arbitrary shuffling of their genetics, ended up being you.

You also don't owe anything to all cis people just because your parents were cis. Your genetic parents were specific cis people, not all cis people.

Besides, we are greater than the sum of our parts.

Nonbinary people don't need cis people in order to exist.

We can have children and/or families with each other. We can perform work, create art, harvest food, build homes, and are otherwise capable of having a functioning community without the magical blessing of a cis person.

The only reason we have difficulty doing any of those things now is because cis people actively and violently prevent us.

We are not indebted to cis people.

I just got off the phone with my mom, who has taken it upon herself to name my boobs.

My mom, having done this to herself and my sister, is something she does.

Doesn't make it any less awkward to have her say excitedly "I have named your boobs."
