Habituellement, j'aime les personnages féminins pragmatiques, celles qui sont à elles seules leur propres obstacles, mais, cette Cendrillon-là fera exception. La romance avait quelques bons moments bien orchestrés, mais qui n'ont pas suffi à créer une vraie alchimie pour moi.
Néanmoins, derrière cette romance principale fade, le couple secondaire avait lui un vrai bon dosage d'humour et de charme inattendu, Yoon Park excellant dans ces rôles de charmant maladroit.

This drama deserves a better rating than it has. If you're a fan of romcoms, low stakes conflict, noona romances, tropes of all kinds, and actors that play off each other well, then I recommend this one! Very sweet.
Ah so now you will get the joke about son Ye Jin that Jung Hae In says not to joke about in #LoveNextDoor. I liked #SomethingInTheRain but was frustrated at the end. Much preferred JHI in #OneSpringNight from the same director and writer as OSN.
#GoodManager with NM and Kim Seon Ho and Lee Jun Ho was also a treat.

A rich chaebol son with a poor office worker who is older & has had responsibility for her brother since leaving her parents behind as a high schooler. This has made her pragmatic. When she finds out her young boyfriend is the 2nd son of the company owner, she knows the relationship is unrealistic. When mom offers money to break up, she takes it.
Good acting, good OST, nothing extraordinary in set design, cinematography, or costuming. There were a few gems of wisdom in the writing, most was lackluster & predictable. The brothers were great together & the 2nd couple was very cute - they stole the show. Good fluff, with some occasional unexpected depth, but then a little disappointment because those hints of something more never came to fruition.

"Cinderella at 2 AM" is turning out to be deeper than I thought it would be. I just sat crying through most of episode 3.
Wondering why, I looked up the show & the director for many shows I really enjoyed, Park Joon Hwa, is the "Original Creator" for this show. (Not sure what exactly that means).
But I like where the show is going.

-- Romance in the House: still enjoying with 6 / 1 2 episodes out. The mystery of how one of the characters made money keeps things interesting while we watch the relationships develop.
-- Love Next Door: With 4 / 16 episodes out, Jung So Min still is fabulous & Jung Hae In is definitely growing on me.
-- DNA Lover: tried eps 3 today & gave up. I'll wait for someone else to tell me if it's worth it to go back.
-- Cinderella at 2 am: Moon Sang Min has definitely improved. This one I think might be surprising. It is so cute & sweet, but the end of eps 2 throws in some trauma that I didn't expect. It will be interesting to see how this plays out.
-- No Gain, No Love: The 1st episode was fantastic - so funny. Eps 2 comes out tomorrow & I'm looking forward to it.
