@ascentale @rasterweb @bikenite The largest group I ever rode with was the "group" at whatever the largest #CicLAvia I attended was. No, actually Critical Mass in the '90s. As far as intentional groups? Probably one of the few Davis Bike Party rides I got in before a horribly ableist comment by one of the sponsors made me stop attending.

You're brave to cycle in that big a group. I actually hate big group rides since they're usually chaotic to the point of collision. #BikeNite

The #ciclavia stranger things promotion is very well done! Tons of fans in 1980s gear and opportunities to take film set selfies. I guess the social media marketing is outta control and potentially exponential plus people get to know local biz on melrose !
