My wife's french friend stopped talking to me after I told her that I despise Churchill as much as I despise Hitler.

She was so offended that I compared her idol to Hitler because she (like almost all people in the west) don't give a shit about atrocities committed by colonialists against people of color.

Over 1.5 million Iranians died during the WW2, when Soviet and Britain invaded northern and southern parts of Iran, using it as "Bridge to victory" as most people was taught, but ignoring that Brritain confiscated and shipped massive amount of grain out of Iran creating a man made famine that killed so many people across the country.
