Im direkten Vergleich gefällt uns „Weimar“ 🇩🇪 deutlich besser: hochwertigere Komponenten 🧩, ein starkes Parlamentssystem 🏛️ und ein Thema, das uns näher ist. Dadurch wirkt das Spielerlebnis intensiver und greifbarer.

„Churchill“ bleibt aber eine gute Alternative – besonders für genau 3 Spielende 👥.

Churchill zeigt eindrucksvoll den Zwiespalt der Alliierten: notwendige Kooperation 🤝 vs. Konkurrenz um die beste Ausgangsposition in der Nachkriegsordnung ⚖️.

Besonders spannend: die Konferenzphase 🗣️, in der politische Streitpunkte verhandelt werden. Aber auch die Entwicklungen an den Fronten 🪖 sind reizvoll.

Der durchaus hohe Glücksfaktor 🎲 passt für uns gut zum Thema – wird aber nicht jede*n begeistern.

Nach 9 Runden und satten 8 Stunden Spielzeit ⏳ haben die 3 Spielenden als Alliierten die Achsenmächte in die Knie gezwungen. ✊🌍

Kurios: Hätten die USA 🇺🇸 als punkteschwächste Fraktion noch 2 Punkte weniger erzielt, hätte ich als Fraktion 🇬🇧 mit den zweitmeisten Punkten gewonnen. Klingt verrückt? Ist aber so. 😄

Für das gewisse Extra werte ich das Churchill-Spielmaterial mit Axis-&-Allies-Komponenten auf – eine schöne Reminiszenz an den Beginn meiner Spielerlaufbahn. 🎖️
