My custom leather chucks arrived earlier.

Here's a picture of the digital mock-up since I don't have a picture of the real shoes yet. In practice, the green leather is very dark and leans a little brown, but it was called "utility green" so I kind of suspected it would be weird.

The shoes say MUNROE on the sides, which is cool. I also ordered a similar pair in canvas but I don't have them yet. They're not the same color of green.

Well, I've ordered two pair of custom Chuck Taylors from Converse. Now I have to wait the agonizing month to find out if they're somehow not exactly what I wanted.

They're customized, so no returns.

I visited a mall Zumiez today.

I told the employee that I want to order custom Chuck Taylors online but I don't know if my size changed after Nike bought Converse. I asked if he could help me check my size even thought I don't plan to buy there.

I had on Chucks, but they're U.S.-made, from before NIke bought Converse, so I thought sizes might have changed.

He said he'd be happy to help.

I tried a pair of Chucks.

My size has not changed.
