In today's story we visit the site of one of Ireland's greatest tragedies...The Stardust Nightclub fire of 1981. This is a story of a long fight for justice, of the price of speaking out against authority, as well as, the many safety violations that came to light later. Blessings to all.

Sunflowers - Mike Harding (Sung by Christy Moore)
She confronted soldiers on her street
Ignoring guns, grenades, and gibbering headsets
She offered them a handful of sunflower seeds
"Keep them in your pockets, boys
That flowers may blossom from your graves
Forever a monument to the children you have murdered
And the families you have destroyed

Christy Moore's Dunnes Stores is a timely reminder that the Irish siding with the oppressed is not a recent phenomenon.

“ Let me tell you a story, I'll be quick as I can.
Terrible news from the #HolyLand
Pictures of children etched in my mind.
Buried in the rubble, on the firing line.
The Jews and the Arabs lived one and the same.
A thousand years, then the Zionists came.
Came like a river, came like a flood.
Al #Nakba was written on the wall in blood."
