Later today my BFF is supposed to come over and we are planning to watch the 1981 movie, #SomewhereInTime, as neither of us have seen it.

Recently, Hubs and I were shocked to learn she had never seen the original #Superman movie.

More expensive than the first release and you lose the wired cape but you get a smiley head which looks fine (mostly).

The cape is stitched at the sides so it was possible to insert wire from the bottom of it which I did (I happened to have some). Bit fiddly but it'll do.

I hope Mattel have a go now they have the DC license again. And please I'd love a Tyler Hoechlin Supes too.

We rewatched the first half of the (1978) Superman movie. I forgot how much of a slow burn it starts. It’s 48 minutes before Christopher Reeve shows up on screen. It’s an hour and change before Superman does.

I can tell it’s before PG-13 was invented, because despite the genocide of an entire species or a guy getting run over by a train it’s PG.

I also forgot Mario Puzo (Godfather) was the writer. What a crazy era.
