Das kaiserliche Winter-Ei von Fabergé wurde bei Christie's London für 26 Millionen Euro versteigert – Weltrekord für den russischen Juwelier. Zar Nikolaus II. hatte es 1913 für seine Mutter in Auftrag gegeben. Der bisherige Auktionsrekord wurde um das Doppelte übertroffen.
