Hospital No. 126 – Chornobyl Exclusion Zone, #Ukraine
It served Prypiat residents and workers, it became a primary site of emergency care during the 1986 disaster.
The first firefighters from Reactor No. 4 were brought here for decontamination. Their radioactive uniforms left in the basement, which remains sealed due to the contamination.
The upper floors contain a maternity ward with baby cots & toy left behind.

Boxes of gas masks lay scattered in various areas of the school complex. Several classrooms still contain original desks, drawings and tattered textbooks, and occasional photos of schoolchildren can also still be found.
