Hospital No. 126 – Chornobyl Exclusion Zone, #Ukraine
It served Prypiat residents and workers, it became a primary site of emergency care during the 1986 disaster.
The first firefighters from Reactor No. 4 were brought here for decontamination. Their radioactive uniforms left in the basement, which remains sealed due to the contamination.
The upper floors contain a maternity ward with baby cots & toy left behind.
