It’s my favorite season, autumn when we finally start reaching for our coats again. 😌 In today’s video, I’m performing Chopin’s Nocturne in C-sharp minor (Op. posth.) on the cello. Originally written for piano, this piece has been reimagined through the deep and warm tones of the cello, offering a new way to feel Chopin’s lyrical and intimate expression. Composed when Chopin was about twenty, during his days at the Warsaw Conservatory, this posthumous nocturne captures his pure and passionate spirit.🖤 This performance was filmed outdoors in front of Atmosphere Music Hall — special thanks for providing such a beautiful location!
