During Seattle's 2020 protest the local cops fully abondaned an entire police station over completely made up claims the station would be razed (which it was not) after those same cops teargassed the densest neighborhood north of San Francisco.
During the time cops were AWOL they also REFUSED to attend to shooting victims.
One such case resulted in a teenager bleeding to death. Their family won $30M+ so naturally SPD is appealing.
In a way I should be thankful to Big Tech for finally pushing my procrastinating butt over the edge, and getting rid of the remnants of "services" I don't really use, anyway.
