I brought the extension out of the dry construction dock, but I stopped to explain to Sunflower that the screws removed fom the existing palace are not food and pecking them is frowned upon. I turned around and I see three of the chooks that have discovered a "new" pecking ground :)

The backyard soap opera, usually "Days of our Lives" escalated to high stakes "Dallas", with a staring contest between Snow and her erstwhile tormentor, Sunshine.
Is this a portent for a switching of roles, or is it a sign of rapproachment?

The chooks got an extra treat yesterday. They were pounced at by a young cat. I scared it off by chucking a football at it.
The feathered beasties have been provided with their morning treat. I substituted corn for some sliced grapes.
No doubt they will soon be demanding to speak to the manager about the lack of sweet corn, bit the manager is sound asleep.
