Two years ago, my mother-in-law took us to the #temple she likes to visit to ask for a house. Since we now have a house, we had to go back and return the favour as well as ask for a child.

I'm not religious, but these temples are peaceful and also never done me harm so I quite enjoy them.

This is the Temple of Heaven in the Dongcheng District of Beijing. I visited when I went to China in 2018. The temple complex's construction commenced in 1420, coinciding with the Yongle Emperor's efforts to restore Beijing as the capital of China.
