One in the greenhouse βbushy with 30 chillies, none ripe yet! Hope they ripen before it gets too cold!

The lemon drop chillies have officially moved into the community greenhouse β and they're thriving! πΆοΈ
But with the heat in there, the soil dries out super fast. To keep the moisture in, I mulched the ground with organic straw from a nearby community farm. πΎ

I picked these tiny habanero chillies from my two-year-old plant. I didnβt give them much attention this season, so they stayed small β but they still pack a punch! π
I accidentally snapped a branch (oops!), and after a few days in a glass of water, the chillies turned red while the leaves wilted.

@gardening @homegrownfood And for those who think this is late for sowing, you're absolutely right. I had to focus all my attention on my Habaneros and UFO chillies in the first weeks of the year, since I overwintered them successfully.
Now is the perfect time for the new ones, and they will be just fine as they can move to a community greenhouse in a couple of weeks.
