A friend told me she's pregnant today. I'm very excited for her, she's wanted another kid for a long time, and I love a baby so I'm looking forward to meeting the little person when they're here.
And it was always really upsetting for me, bringing up childless grief that I had thought was behind me. Big ugly cry.
To be fair, I also thought new baby announcements were behind my mostly 40+ cohort. I'll be fine, I have space for both. But I'm a little raw.
Just sharing because I try to make a little space for the #childlessNotByChoice experience here, as it's often hidden.
