Last winter was the first time I ever had chilblains (though it looks like they're coming back this year).
Today for the first time it occurred to me that getting covid the summer before said winter might not be unconnected to the change from "chilblains: never" to "chilblains: regular".

Double up on socks, wear slippers, try not to be out in the cold too long. The itchy, burny tingle of #chilblains sucks!
