Recently unpacked an older favourite #MechanicalKeyboard of mine and using it since then: The rather flat #VortexGear #Race3 with #CherryMX #SilentRed switches and (#Massdrop × #Hasbro) #XDA #Scrabble #keycaps, designed by @cassidoo.
Oh, and while looking for the original product link, I just noticed that (Mass)Drop now seems to belong to #Corsair and really died completely 😢: "Starting our next chapter, #Drop will become a hub for our collaborations with truly exciting titles." 🙄
If you want Cherry MX keyswitches for future use, you might want to stock up. Cherry announced last year that production was moving to China, but today Mouser Electronics sent me an obsolescence notice for Cherry MX Blue.

EDIT: sorry if I caused any alarm. As several people have informed me, just replace the MX1A prefix with MX2A.
Looks like I might have to retire my wasd keyboard v2 (cherry mx clears) which has been my main input device for the last 12-13 years. Been trying to hold on as I prefer a full keyboard with numpad/media keys/etc and the current 60%/65% mechanical fad I just don't understand how anyone is programming missing the other 40%?! Need as many keys as I can get. Found this thread https://discourse.codinghorror.com/t/what-happened-to-wasd-keyboards/10143/18 which lead to https://cliffle.com/widget/recode but sadly not compatible and unfortunately I have two. Probably could try hacking something together and getting QMK on it but there are a couple of other creature comforts I'd like, wireless, bluetooth, hotswap, single key combos, haptic feedback, tap dancing, etc. Is my only choice to build my own?
FWIW: Please don't tell me about modifying layouts via x11/wayland. I know, it doesn't work uniformly and never has and never will; i'd like to do any layout modding via firmware, so at least QMK.
