A #Minneapolis police officer who identified himself as a supervisor to several protesters told them he did not know exactly what happened. “It’s not like they’re talking to us,” he said, referring to the federal agents on scene.

Federal officers are again using roving patrols, #WarrantlessArrests & aggressive tactics such as spraying #ChemicalAgents, breaking car windows & recording #protesters, including #ReneeNicoleGood & her vehicle in the moments before an #ICE officer fatally shot her.

Rodriguez-Sanchez said she saw a man being detained, & anticipating the use of #ChemicalAgents, immediately ran to nearby Hibbard Elementary School to make sure #children were inside.

She came back to the scene, & said she was at one point shoved by federal agents as she tried to reach the man who had been pulled out of his vehicle.

“They showed up here to terrorize people, & they got a response from the community. People did everything they could. I’m just so heartbroken,” she added….

The latter are now heavily involved in #immigration arrests FAR from the US-Mexico #border; most federal agents have scant experience dealing with #protesters in #urban areas. #DHS claims *assaults* [people defending themselves] against officers have risen significantly.
