Dame Dreaming, also known as Dame Dreaming with Bill Doggett, is an album by American organist Bill Doggett released by the King label in 1957.

AllMusic reviewer Myles Boisen stated "This was one of Bill Doggett's smooth 'n' easy recordings ... don't expect anything that will rattle the ice cubes in your martini".

Ended yesterday and started today with Satin Brass by George Shearing released in 1960 on Capitol.

Satin Brass Review by Scott Yanow

The George Shearing Quintet (comprised of piano, vibes, guitar, bass and drums) is joined by four trumpets, four trombones, two French horns and a tuba for a dozen easy-listening performances on this Capitol LP. The pianist/leader arranged the majority of the selections which include a few standards and several obscurities. Although the instrumentation might lead one to believe that this LP will contain shouting performances, actually the playing is often quite mellow and restrained with the Quintet very much in the lead throughout. Nice music but not too essential.

Welcomed sleep and greeted the new day after my swim with Latin Affair a 1959 album by pianist George Shearing.

The initial Billboard magazine review from November 30, 1959 chose the album as one of its "Special Merit Spotlights" and commented that "Shearing serves up his usual, lightly swingy, delicately phrased instrumental treatments of a group of Latin themes and standards...all dressed up in an infectious Latin beat".

Latin Affair and Shearing's 1958 album Latin Lace were featured in Tom Moon's 2008 book 1,000 Recordings to Hear Before You Die - Wikipedia

Latin Lace is a 1958 album by jazz pianist George Shearing and his quintet.

Latin Lace is one of a number of themed recordings with deliberately sexualised album covers that Shearing and his quintet produced in the 1950s; in his 2005 autobiography Lullaby of Birdland, Shearing recalled that the liner notes for the album implored the listener to "add a little spice into your pad with these twelve hot little numbers!".

Scott Yanow reviewed the album for Allmusic and awarded it three stars, commenting that "The second of pianist George Shearing's full-length Latin albums once again finds his quintet...being joined by the exciting congas of Armando Peraza Most of the easy-listening melodies are from south of the border, but even the ones that aren't (such as "The Story of Love," "The Moon Was Yellow" and "It's Not for Me to Say") are given a Latinized treatment. ...". - Wikipedia

Telefunken Blues is an album led by jazz drummer Kenny Clarke recorded in late 1954 and early 1955 and first released on the Savoy label.

The Allmusic review by Jim Todd stated: "Everyone's in good form on these two sessions from the mid-'50s. The earlier 1954 set, though, is the more interesting. It teams Modern Jazz Quartet alumni Kenny Clarke, Milt Jackson, and Percy Heath with West Coast beboppers ... The four tracks from the later 1955 date feature a familiar Savoy grouping of Count Basie band members ... Telefunken Blues is recommended for the set with Morgan, Benton, and Wiggins, although the session with the Count's men does offer several pleasures"

Bohemia After Dark is an album by jazz drummer Kenny Clarke, featuring the earliest recordings with Cannonball Adderley and Nat Adderley. It was released by Savoy Records in September 1955.
The album, and its first track, are titled after the Café Bohemia a restaurant where, between 1955 and 1960, jazz live sessions were held.
The Allmusic review by Scott Yanow states: "Although drummer Kenny Clarke is the nominal leader and the other sidemen include trumpeter Donald Byrd, Jerome Richardson on tenor and flute, pianist Horace Silver and bassist Paul Chambers, the impressive performance by the young Adderleys makes this a historic session that has often been reissued under Cannonball's name".
