CharnockMore 1970s TV - Nigel Kneale's Beasts would make for a good #Neverseventies TTRPG set up. Short bleak, weird, bottle adventures which run for one evening, and involve the players (for example) being terrified by the reverse of the Rats in the Basement scenario, where the players are trapped in a world of rats. (Borty's Party) and the GM slowly increases the volume of the scrabbling throughout the game.
