🚨 T‑Mobile Informing Impacted Customers about Unauthorized Activity 🚨
"No passwords, payment card information, social security numbers, government ID numbers or other financial account information were compromised. Some basic customer information was obtained, including name, billing address, email, phone number, date of birth, account number, and information such as the number of lines on the account and service plan features."
For US citizens, this "basic information" is worth more than gold and diamonds on the #darkweb. If you have a US T-Mobile account, #BOLO for #Phishing emails, #Smishing texts, #ChangeYourPassword for your email and T-Mobile accounts, and make sure you have #MFA turned on as well. If you have service that allows you to lock your #SIM card to your phone - turn it on to avoid #SIMJacking or #SIMCloning, which a determined hacker could do with these details.
