... a) haven't had the impression it lasts anything good (even w/o rivercrossings) but more importantly

b) it always clogs to complete uselessness.

Basically a pain in the ass to use (had to use grass stems for every drip) and with to be expected low performance.

I'll go back to Silca Synergetic for race use: tried and proven!

Can't recommend. Tested on the Silk Road Mountain Race.

So a few weeks back I wrote that I'll try this Trutension cycle Banana Slip Drip Lube.

Reason: it tests similar to the proven Silca Synergetic, is also kind of a drip wax like Silca Super Secret Chain coating yet promises near instant ready time after application (5-10 mins).

So far, so good.

Scheint übrigens wirklich gut zu sein. Nach knapp 100 km noch kein Schmutz angesetzt und es kurbelt immer noch angenehm leicht und leise. Das könnte mit dem Muc-Off Hydro Dynamic wirklich was werden. 👍

Kettenöl der Wahl, für die #SchwarzwaldTour23! Das Trocken-Öl ist leider nichts, das wäscht sich bei leichtester Feuchtigkeit sofort raus. Das Wet-Lube ist ein Schmutzmagnet, also auch nix. Aber man (Marketing?) sagt das Hydro Dynamic habe magische Kräfte. 🤔😉
