Turns out not every all-consuming headache is a #migraine
I though it was an umbrella term for a larger category of pain…feelin kinda dumb lol
So glad I figured this out before they started mindlessly throwing some hip new migraine pharmaceuticals at me

Oh, I am so tired of being ill. I've had an upper respiratory infection for two weeks tomorrow (finally have antibiotics) but in addition to the cough, my sinuses are always either hard as a rock or draining profusely. The cough last week also did something to my ribs, which are now in a constant state of dull ache, which in certain places becomes a sharp pain when I'm coughing. And, perhaps worst of all, the coughing also seems to have given me a cervicogenic headache, which is possible the most agonizing kind of headache I've experienced. My pain level hovers consistently around an 8 or a 9, worsened when I move my neck at all or cough.
I have some muscle relaxants as of today to try for my neck. Here's hoping I feel well again someday!
