#Artist/ #Writer Jack Katz, whose ambitious #ndyComic epic, #TheFirstKingdom, laid the groundwork in the 1970s for #LongformGraphicNarratives like #Cerebus, died April 24 at the age of 97. If he had not published that #ScienceFantasy saga, it’s likely that Katz would have been regarded as just a journeyman #Illustrator, who tried — with little success — to make a living in comics. As it is, he will be remembered for his attempt, during the waning days of #UndergroundComics, to put out one of the first self-published #graphicnovels

Maasika Cerebus oli Humblessa. Möyhin ostopäätöstä viikkokausia, viimeiseen päivään. Cerebuksen sanotaan olevan pohjoisamerikkalaisen sarjakuvan suuria saavutuksia kuvituksen ja kerronnan alalla, mutta siihen sekoittuu aina maininnat tekijän lisääntyvästä.. khrm.. eksentrisyydestä.
Lopulta päätin tarttua haasteeseen. Tiedostot olivat painotiedostoja, mutta mustavalkoiset sarjakuvat sai onneksi pakattua alle 250 megan kindleä varten suht helposti.
I've downloaded all the Cerebus books in PDF from Humble Bundle, so now I can put them away and forget about them.

Apparently, Sim went off his rocker halfway the series, turning out to be very anti-feminism, anti-female, anti-homosexual, among others.
