Missed the #CellBio2022 meeting last month? #ASCBiology

Nadja Hümpfer, Ankita Jha, Giuliana Clemente, Mugdha Sathe and Rinalda Proko have put together a #preList containing #preprints that were discussed and presented here.

The 6-yo Macbook Pro is back to life! After a couple of days the water spill has resolved itself and I can charge again. I'd have been so bummed to loose all my new stickers from #CellBio2022
Fabulous ending to the amazing #CellBio2022 meeting. Amazing sessions, right from the first day, on nuclear mechanotransduction to cell size subgroup and last day's finale on tardigards.

Great talk by Sylvia Erhardt on the REDPOINT approach to identify centromere interacting proteins with biomedical potential.

So the penultimate day of #CellBio2022 was pretty full-on. Started with a terrific talk from Don Cleveland as the recipient of the E.B. Wilson Prize. He did a split talk between neurodegenerative disease therapies and chromothripsis in cancer. Then it was a melee of talks, posters and catching up with @binyam and @jorgeferreira in the hubbub of the main hall. I got a ton of new ideas and tips for our work.
Well that is really neat!

What does a scientist do whilst stuck at home with COVID? Well apart from sleep, feel like crap and watch everyone’s #CellBio2022 tweets?

Make art of course. Here is my latest piece!

A single cell with organelles, painted with acrylic (32x42inch canvas) based on my own data.
