Nella clip si vedono soldati di Israele aprire il fuoco e trovare una borsa con all'interno delle armi. "Le Forze di Difesa Israeliane hanno avviato una manovra di terra in Libano per eliminare le minacce e proteggere gli abitanti della Galilea e del nord", ha detto il ministro della Difesa israeliano Israel Katz.

Forze speciali israeliane, anche agenti del Mossad, hanno operato nelle scorse ore sul campo in Iran. E' quanto si legge sul sito web della tv satellitare al-Arabiya, che indica come fonti "media israeliani”.

Unità delle forze israeliane sono poi entrate nel sud del Libano. Lo riferisce il sito di notizie Ynet. Secondo quanto reso noto, forze della 91esima Divisione sono entrate nel sud del Libano e "mantengono il controllo di diverse posizioni nell'area" come "parte" dell'operazione per il "rafforzamento della difesa avanzata". Secondo le Idf, le forze israeliane "lavorano per creare un ulteriore livello di sicurezza aggiuntiva per i residenti del nord" di Israele, "con raid estesi contro infrastrutture" degli Hezbollah libanesi, per "sventare minacce e impedire tentativi di infiltrazione nel territorio israeliano". "Hezbollah ha scelto di attaccare Israele per conto del regime iraniano e subirà le conseguenze delle sue azioni". E' quanto si legge nel post su X con cui le forze israeliane (Idf) confermano che loro unità "operano nel sud del Libano" e sono "posizionate in vari punti nei pressi della zona di confine come parte di una rafforzata postura di difesa avanzata". Nel frattempo l'esercito libanese ha ritirato i propri militari da diverse postazioni nel sud del Paese, vicino al confine con Israele, in seguito all'escalation delle operazioni israeliane. Lo ha riferito una fonte militare all'Afp, precisando che le forze armate hanno ridistribuito i propri uomini in vari punti dove si erano recentemente posizionati, con l'obiettivo di preservare la sicurezza dei soldati. Inoltre la tv libanese al-Jadeed ha dato la notizia di una decisione di Unifil di mandare via "immediatamente" dal Libano il "personale civile non essenziale" della Missione Unifil. L'emittente parla dell' "evacuazione" dal Paese dei Cedri del "personale straniero non essenziale e dei loro familiari".

18/06/2025 - A lovely day spent at Camperdown Country Park in Dundee. We were there to see the 'Camperdown Elm'. But there is also a great tree walk which is well worth doing. Some unusual trees. It was good fun trying to find them all. After a sit and our butties we tried to get the 3 cedars sorted in our heads. They have all 3 next to each other (I think!) which was great to compare. I find them tricky but just wonderful trees.
