📢 New open EO Landsat data on #CDSE: one of the main objectives of the @REA Horizon Europe @earthmonitororg project is producing Analysis-Ready (ARD) and Decision-Relevant (DRD) Data that is open, cloud-optimized and complete, consistent, current and correct (4C-ARCO). Thanks to the kind support from @cloudferro #ESA and @landcarbonlab , this data (https://doi.org/10.7717/peerj.18585) is now available openly and within the Europe's central infrastructure for EO data #CDSE:

The European Environment Agency has just expanded the Copernicus High-Resolution Layers with the long-awaited HRL Cropland product, developed by VITO.

This new addition brings 10-meter resolution insights into crop types and cropping patterns across Europe for 2017-2021, enabling better monitoring of land use and changes over time. 🌾

No free usage of @sentinel_hub anymore? @sinergise published a blog on moving from Sentinel Hub to Copernicus Browser. They said Copernicus Browser offers the same intuitive functionality as Sentinel Hub EO Browser, but is easier to use and free long-term.

To me, this reads like #SentinelHub will become a paid service for commercial customers. Probably not a big deal, as #CDSE remains free, but an interesting development.
