As someone looking for work, I have some questions after reading this:

How exactly do they define "local team members" besides hiring students?

Do the "local members" applying need 60 years of experience along with a connection to the manager's daughter?

Are they actually doing this based on Dunkin Donuts' Canadian business agenda? Or is it simply because of TFW according to the article?

I'm even concerned that there will be an increase in other forms of hiring discrimination (such as ageism or disability discrimination) with this new hiring move.

Thoughts?

The more I read about #pathways #carbon capture, the more convinced I am that it is smoke and mirrors in an attempt to make another #pipeline and the attendant #emissions more palatable.

Flagship $20B-plus carbon capture project lowered goals in Ottawa-Alberta oilsands deal

Buried in the fine print of the federal-provincial energy 'grand bargain' is a big step-down on Pathways project's CO₂ removal targets, meant to offset emissions linked to proposed new oil pipeline.

De-carbonized oil. What a misnomer. It will still be the same dirty #bitumen with the attendant #emissions when burned by the customer. Using #carbon capture #technology does not make it "decarbonized".
