Last weekend while in D.C. for a wedding, we had a grand ol’ time riding the lovingly preserved 1921 Dentzel Carousel at Glen Echo Park, Maryland. With internet peaked, listed below are the metropolitan areas in the United States with the most historic carousels (merry-go-rounds) listed on the National Register of Historic Places and those with the most carousels regardless of age.
