Behold, my Carnivore Porridge recipe I came up with. Perfect for early morning if you’re a #LongHaul er or have #LongCovid like me and it’s difficult to get moving in the morning. It’s a tasty and quick hot cereal that gets you going with protein, sodium, and fats.
What you’ll need:
3oz cans of potted meat x3
Scoop of ghee*
Bonus (but not necessary):
Handful of shredded cheese
Black ground pepper
Sriracha
Directions:
1. Get a small bowl (I use paper bowls) and dump out the 3 cans of potted meat into bowl.
2. Get a scoop of ghee (I just use a spoon) and add it to the bowl.
Bonus: If adding shredded cheese, add it now.
3. Stir contents in bowl.
4. Cover bowl with something, place bowl in microwave and heat for 1:30.
5. Best to let sit for a minute. Molten hot.
6. Take bowl out and stir contents.
Bonus: This is where you add black pepper or sriracha.
And you’re done! Enjoy!
**The ghee has a delicious caramelized taste and is a great substitute for butter if you’re lactose intolerant.
