Years ago, when there were no folding recumbents on the market, Juliane Neuss invented and sold an after-market kit for the Brompton to convert it into a folding recumbent. I bought one (and lost it in the move).

She went on to found junik and they were at #Spezi2026 Didn't see the woman herself, but she's still innovating to help fulfill niche needs.

One said "Ride & Shine" with just text. One was a design in the style of what's on the Spezi site right now showing a cargo bike and saying "rise and shine" under. Another shows a velomobile and another shows a folding bike.

Home early again from Spezi. There's only so much I can do per day, especially when there's a significant walk (for me) from the hotel to the conference hall and back.

Had a great time meeting fellow Mastodonians @spmrider @miq and @FolksVelo, the latter of whom has the photoevidence.

And spotted @RostundRad again on the way out!
